It is the start of the new month (at the point of writing, it is 3 Dec 22), so it is time to compute how much I collected using options in Nov 22.
In the month of November 22, I collected a total of $692. These trades were all closed - means I actually collected much more than $692 in Nov 22*, but some of them will only be closed in December, so I didn't include them. From this month onwards, I would only count the profits made by closed trades during that month.
*I actually collected $2,081 in total - but some of this premium collection will only be realised in December or January.
Closed Trades in Nov 22
So what were the trades which were closed in Nov 22?
All of the above trades which were opened previously, and was closed in the month of November. All closed trades were profitable for this month and I collected a total realised profit of $692. To put things into context, this was done using a $20,000 portfolio, which would translate to around a 3.46% return in a month.
The trades were a mix of vertical options and sell call options.
