Designing A Portfolio

This is one of my favorite topics.

Why?

Because when you design a portfolio carefully, you are able to make investing mistakes and still make money overall.

The keyword here is "overall".

It is true that when you are following the 8-Point checklist and the "Thermostat" method to valuate the companies, there is honestly a very slim chance you will lose money, especially when you have a long term outlook.

Even so, you still need a portfolio.

It's kinda like, when you are driving a car, you have the most advanced automatic system, the highest quality air-bag, and got your seat-belt buckled - you could still end up in an accident.

That's why, you need to know how to survive minor accidents that happen along the way.

The only way to do that is to have a portfolio - which is what we will discover in this chapter.

Note: One of the biggest reasons why the investing hub was built as there were too many people who were relying on hot "stock tips" to invest, and ended up getting their portfolio burnt. This resource hub aims to equip beginner investors with the knowledge and the tools to invest profitably in the stock market.
